(Fun fact #413: I can't even pretend that I keep rum in my house, the bottle was in fact my cousin's leftover from a Christmas visit)
For some reason I wanted to take a big whiff of the cigar as soon as I openened it...Probably won't be doing that next time, because it literally smelled like poop.

Next, I had to cut the closed tip off of the cigar, to allow air to flow, but also ensuring not to cut too much to prevent damaging the delicate wrapper holding it all together.

Lighting the cigar easily took about 20 minutes, and 10 matches. I've since learned that I was doing it all wrong. However, eventually it DID get lit!
The flavor of the smoke was surprisingly pleasant and paired extremely well with my rum and Coke.

I look forward to having more cigar experiences in the future, and maybe next time I'll have my cigar with a waffle!
